Potatoes - parsley - salt and pepper - seed oil - possibly a bit of breadcrumbs
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes in salted water and pass them in the vegetable mill. Add parsley, salt and pepper. Give the mixture the shape of many oval croquettes (if it is too soft add a little 'crumb) and fry in hot seed oil.
In the Palermitan tradition we eat hot masses in a sandwich, perhaps together with some panelle. Alternatively you can eat as an appetizer or side dish.
